These mugs are thrown from scratch by hand on a pottery wheel without the use of molds, and are made from chocolate-colored stoneware clay and either a matte white glaze or a blue rutile glaze. They are decorated with an "Elephant Parade" pattern using a resist method combining the clay's natural color and the lead-free glaze. These are one-of-a-kind pieces, each measuring between about 3-4" tall, by 5" at the widest point including the handles. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
