This 11.5" diameter tall statement bowl is thrown from scratch by hand on a pottery wheel without the use of molds, and is made from stoneware clay. It is decorated with a "Caffeinated Spider" pattern using a resist method combining a pale clay body with multiple tones of patinated copper ("Statue of Liberty" green) all over the piece, for a rich combination of colors and textures. Connecting points from dot to dot, a geometric lotus pattern emerges. Dishwasher and microwave safe. This is a one-of-a-kind piece.
