This 6" diameter bowl is thrown from scratch by hand on a pottery wheel without the use of molds, and is made from stoneware clay. It is decorated with a "Caffeinated Spider" pattern using a resist method combining a vanilla bean stoneware body with an opaque aqua color created with underglaze and glaze, for a rich combination of colors and textures. Connecting points from dot to dot, a geometric lotus pattern emerges, finished with a subtle lotus petal edge. Dishwasher and microwave safe. This is a one-of-a-kind piece.
